This may have been the show at which I tried talking to Sahara Hotnights’ drummer, not realizing she probably spoke minimal English at best. Our conversation consisted of me saying I liked her band and her nodding and smiling. Oops. Still, probably the furthest I’ve ever gotten with a smokin’ hot Swedish blonde.

This show didn’t happen–a blizzard east of Seattle kept the touring bands from getting into town. I think Vendetta Red and SMAT played, but we didn’t stick around. We probably went bowling.
